Barb is the office manager and personal assistant to the CEO of Widgets Inc. She has been with the company for over 20 years and is the first point of contact; which is fortunate because she's the only one who actually knows what's going on. She is ruthlessly efficient, leaving only order in her wake - not that any of the others appreciate it. While she is kind and calm and helps everyone, she will destroy anyone who gets on her bad side. She is the mouthpiece of the upper levels and the CEO... so much so that no one is sure that the CEO actually exists.
